Once
you’ve settled on a calibration service provider you’re
faced with the task of auditing their quality system to
ensure that it meets your expectations. CCL realizes that
while this process must occur, it isn’t always convenient
for you to travel off-site for one or more days to perform
the audit. Our solution is to make the audit process simple
by bringing our primarily electronic quality system to you.
We’ve also made several quality documents available for
request or download so that the audit process can get
started immediately.
CCL’s Quality System Manual
is available by request. The QSM
states overall policies to ensure compliance with ISO/IEC
17025 (General Requirements for the Competence of Calibration and Testing Laboratories) for broad, across-industry acceptance of our
documentation.
A sample
Certificate of Calibration is available for download.
Each certificate is compliant with ISO/IEC 17025 Section
5.10: Reporting the Results, and also includes additional
information not required by ISO/IEC 17025.
When our job is complete, the only footprints left behind
are our calibration labels. A quick glance at our
descriptive labels and the end user will be able to tell if
an instrument is fully calibrated, for reference only, has
limitations, etc. Unlike the paper labels that many
companies use, the text on each of our polyester
labels is
protected from routine cleaning by a clear self-laminating
flap ensuring readability throughout the calibration cycle.
